Paula Brooks
I love different languages, cultures and travelling – experiencing the world through different eyes brings new perspectives and opportunities for learning and growth.
Achieving my Karate Black Belt proves a way of life in harmony with respect, self-control and the value of self and others. Practice, practice, practice… the firm foundation which naturally aligns with experiential Leadership Coaching.
My 30+ years of business experience in the automotive and IT sector coupled with my karate training, ethos and mindset make me unique… and I’m interested to know what makes you unique…
I graduated from University with a 2:1 in Information Studies and went on to gain a Masters in Computer Science before joining the corporate world of IT and the Automotive Industry. Progressing upwards at Ford Motor Company, I successfully coached a diverse cohort of more than 35 leaders concurrently. I also led large global virtual teams through major strategic change and turbulent times always with patience, respect and leadership excellence and an engaging, winning smile.
Valuing diversity and believing in myself, I helped set the pace of change for flexible and part-time working over 20 years ago, thankfully this is now more of an accepted practice in the business world…
I took up karate as a novice alongside my energetic twin sons, sharing their passion, spirit and challenges and have never looked back! 15 years later and I am now a black belt 3rd Dan instructor teaching physical and mental lifelong skills to others.
My holistic 3-way approach: activating body, mind and spirit.
